Recognizing the route with signs or markings would make Bernal’s terrain much more accessible to everyday riders traveling from the Mission and Valencia corridors up through Alabama and Mullen Streets.
Bay Wheels expansion
Electric-assist bikes make hills less of an obstacle, and demand for bike share in hilly neighborhoods is growing. More stations near places like Holly Park, Bernal Heights Park, Barebottle Brewery, and Mission Street would connect Bernal to the citywide network and make car-free errands easier.
